Nominator Lesley Jones Bury Council’s Director of Public Health says Rachel has gone way above and beyond in supporting their local response to COVID-19. She has developed and overseen the local system for distribution of emergency PPE supplies, ensuring the PPE needs of social care and community providers were met; she has identified, prepared and established 7 local walk-in testing centres to improve equity of access whilst also ensuring the launch of the digitisation of the early years pathway as part of her day job, putting more control in the hands of parents.
