Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a world renowned centre of clinical excellence and one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK. We worked closely with the Culture and Leadership team to build on the existing reputation for their annual staff awards.
From the outset we dramatically improved the processes by which nominations for staff members are made, resulting not only in more than 1,000 more nominations than the previous year, but an estimated 3 weeks in administration time saved for the team to collate and evaluate those to be shortlisted. Alongside this we managed the panel discussions and judging process to decide upon the winner, scheduling of videography for the nominators, booking entertainment, onsite event logistics, and follow up Directorate information for the team to use to celebrate all those nominated.
The awards, held in September 2024 at Oxford Town Hall, were hosted by BBC Radio Host Bridgitte Tetteh, and saw 250 guests including dignitaries, sponsors and of course those shortlisted come together for an evening of celebration.
Nuno Antunes, Culture & Leadership Programme Manager, said, ‘This was the first time we had used a professional organisation to support us with the organising and delivery of this event, and we were pleased with their professional and helpful approach, even with the last-minute changes. We really enjoyed working alongside the team in putting together such an incredible event for our staff and we look forward to working with them again in the future.’
