Nominator Lesley Jones, director of public health says Julie has led their Infection Prevention and Control Team with dogged determination and perseverance alongside her usual calm professionalism in extremely challenging circumstances. Through the development of strong relationships, she has ensured that all their care homes, education settings, businesses and voluntary organisations have received the advice and support they have needed when they have needed it. She has supported her team through it all and made the time to ensure new staff have been welcomed into the fold and fully equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to do their job. Julie is a real asset and a gem.
